What is Midi Apéritifs?

It’s fortified wine, made better.

We start off with juicy wines we carefully selected in Languedoc in France (where the good stuff is made).

This wine is then fortified with vacuum distillates of mediterranean fruits and herbs and roots.
Think of cassis, bergamot, juicy apricots, rosemary, thyme, Amalfi lemons, lemon verbena,...

If that doesn't bring the sun in your glass, we're not quite sure wat will.

Vacuum distillation-what?

Where others would infuse or macerate their herbs/fruits in the wine, we took things slightly further.

All of our mediterranean fruits and herbs are seperately distilled at low temperature and under pressure. This allows the boiling point to be much lower than traditional distillation. (25-30°C as opposed to >80°C)

By doing this Jules achieves the freshest and most delicate aroma’s of every ingredient.

This is not an easy technique, it is very time consuming but the result does not dissapoint.

Do these apéritifs contain alcohol?

Yes, Midi Apéritifs is considered a LOW ABV apéritif, containing 21% ABV.

When served with double the amount of tonic water, one serve contains approximately 7% ABV, which in general is lower than a glass of wine.

How do I conserve this juice of gods?

We solely use natural ingredients and choose not to use conservatives.

That’s why you should always store your bottles in a cool, dry environment, away from direct sunlight.

Once opened, keep your bottle refrigerated.

Do Midi Apéritifs contain any sugar?

Yes, our apéritifs contain Fairtrade cane sugar.
